CYPRUS – Hotels and resorts have been getting more creative about how to handle those dicey teen years, figuring out cool ways to keep older kids entertained. Thanos Hotels in Cyprus have enlisted the internet, but not in the usual way. Its three hotels – Almyra, Annabelle and Anassa – are holding digital workshops, teaching kids how to blog, improve their pictures and video, and use social media wisely.

A London digital expert will run the sessions along with the kids club supervisors. There will even be prizes to win, and the kids will be be part of the hotels’ blogging team. Could embarrassing Internet pictures of you poolside be far behind?

Digital workshops, €20 for ages 10 and up, at all three locations of Thanos Hotels – Annasa in Polis, Cyprus; Almyra in Paphos, Cyprus; Annabella in Paphos, Cyprus. More information at www.thanosdiaries.com.
