Talk about a great day out.
Usually on Jenography I write about outings with the family or grown-up experiences when we occasionally leave the kids at home. But one of the biggest weekends of my year is BritMums Live, the blogging and social media conference we organise at BritMums. We get to socialise, network and learn with hundreds of our closest friends.
It’s coming up on 19-20 June at The Brewery in Moorgate and at BritMums we are deep into planning. I’m joining in on the “I’m going” Linky.

Is this your first blogging conference?
This will be the SIXTH one I’ve organised, and I’ve also been lucky enough to attend several other wonderful ones over the past several years. I have a feeling this is going to be the best one yet.
Are you attending both days?
Absolutely! My philosophy is, even if you don’t attend sessions in every time slot, you don’t want to miss out on chatting and connecting with friends and brands.
What are you most looking forward to at BritMums Live 2015?
I couldn’t name just one thing, but I’m very excited about some of the new programming — keynotes like Deliciously Ella and Carol Smillie, some technical sessions like YouTube and Advanced SEO and Google+ and our amazing Define Your Design sessions with Lucy Heath.

I haven’t decided what I’m going to wear during the day but I’m planning on wearing an actual gown (yes, a gown) to the BiBs party and ceremony.
What do you hope to gain from BritMums Live 2015?
Make more friends, connect with existing ones, get inspired, chat with brands, and learn how to blog better.
Do you have any tips to pass on to others who may not have been before?
Don’t worry about “cliques” or people who are all standing together in the Hub or sitting together at tables. Many of them may have just met. The easiest and best introduction is to say, “Hi, may I join you?” I promise the answer at BritMums Live is always yes.

When I uploaded my Bibs 2014 coverage to You Tube it came flooding back what a glamorous affair it is, so I applaud you in your gown wearing decision. Go you! Can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Oooooh, ball gown! Then I’m going to wear a nice dress too. I think everyone should, what a great idea!!

I am getting ludicrously excited for this year’s BML, it’s beginning to feel like a school reunion. I always come home brimming with ideas, full of inspiration and gratitude for the support and sense of community that the blog world oozes. Thank you for bringing us all together. Gowns ahoy!

Hi Jen, this is my first conference & I’m so excited! I have no idea what to wear to the BIB’s, I’ve never been to an event like it before! Is my normal jeans & a posh top going to cut it, I wonder!? Looking so forward to seeing you there. Lizzie XO
