All razzmatazz – how Disney christens a new ship

I’ve always known how successful Disney is, but on last week’s trip to Orlando I finally felt the full force of Disney.

Gathered with other bloggers and journalists, we watched an all-singing, all-dancing christening ceremony. (Jennifer Hudson is the ship’s “godmother” and christened it.)  The enthusiasm of the faces of the performers…sorry, “cast members”…the dancing, the fireworks, the oversized puppets, the characters, the Princesses, a military band. It was all a bit overwhelming, even making one of the hard-hearted men in our group misty eyed.

I’ve tried to capture a bit of the Disney magic® in my first video using a Flip camera and the built-in editing software. Let me know what you think.

    1. It was really fun, and you can see why Disney bills itself as a “premium” product.
